Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Bright Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on promotions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
