Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Ember Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Antonio. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on regulatory reports.
