Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Corner Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Antonio, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 410 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
