Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Summit Learning Group Partners operates schools and learning programmes around Salt Lake City, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
