Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Harborlight Ashton Legal Group is a law firm in Sacramento serving businesses and individuals, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in client files and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on intake forms. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
