Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Pike Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
