Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Sable Manufacturing makes precision components in Sacramento, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
