Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Umber Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on public records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
