Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Forge Arts Center is an arts centre in Sacramento with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in school partnerships and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ticketing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
