Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Lakeside Farms and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in packing house output and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
