Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Haven Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
