Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Foxglove Corner Medical designs and makes medical devices in Rochester, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on training materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
