Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

Lumen Linden Banking Services is a regional lender in Richmond with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on account openings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
