Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Nova Willow Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
