Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Clear Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
