Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Meridian Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on case files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
