Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Juniper Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
