Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for document review, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 598 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Investigate trends in document review and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
