Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Wren Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on weigh tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
