Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Reno, NV)

Bluepeak Junction Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Reno, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 246 people based in Reno. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
