Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Pine Manufacturing Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
