Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Northwind Linden Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Little Rock, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
