Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood Granite Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
