Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
