Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Bluepeak Nest Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
