Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight Banking Services is a regional lender in Portland with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
