Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Mill Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
