Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit Bright Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on parts orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
