Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Baltimore area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
