Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Northwind Harbor Energy is an energy provider in Madison focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
