Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Stone Telecom Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in network equipment and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
