Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Lumen Maple Manufacturing Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in production lines and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
