Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Redstone Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Boston area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
