Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Madison, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 126 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
