Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight West Arts Center is an arts centre in Salt Lake City with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on event logistics. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
