Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight Vale Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Spokane area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
