Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood River Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
