Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Field Financial Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
