Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Orchard Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
