Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Northwind Maple Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
