Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Nova Drift Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Nashville. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fraud alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
