Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood Iron Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service appointments. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
