Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Highbridge Fern Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Wichita design routes and schedules, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on ridership counts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
