Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Highbridge Beacon Learning Group is an education provider in Wichita serving students and families. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
