Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Forge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Raleigh, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer tracking and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
