Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind River Financial and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
