Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Umber Hospitality Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules.
