Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit River Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
