Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Lakeside Hospitality and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 866 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
