Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Clearpath Meadow Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
